Young and fresh talents emerge everyday from various platforms. The modelling world is no exception. In this exclusive interview we meet the recently crowned Miss West Africa and she takes us on a cruise into her personal life and the journey to becoming a supermodel as well as her dreams and aspirations for the future. ADEBIMPE: Tell us about yourself and what you do.

ELIZABETH: I am  Elizabeth Vincent a fashionista and an aspiring fashion designer. I’m also a model and winner of the recently concluded Mister & Miss West Africa pageant organized by House of CEO.  I am Miss West Africa INT’L 2017 and was awarded as most Photogenic female model of the year.

ADEBIMPE: Why and when did you decide to be an entrepreneur?

ELIZABETH:   I chose to be an entrepreneur because I wanted something that will help me be a self-boss so as to have time for myself and my family in future. I decided to become an entrepreneur around 2010 due of some personal observations.

ADEBIMPE: How did you start modelling?

ELIZABETH: My going into modeling has been there since I was growing up. People kept telling me about it but I did not pick interest in it until early this year when I decided to give it a shot.

ADEBIMPE: What has been your biggest challenges and how are you scaling through them?

ELIZABETH:  For modelling the biggest challenge is sexual victimisation although I have not experienced it, but then if I do, I will drop any agency I notice do such.

ADEBIMPE: How has the response been to your career, from family, friends and the society at large?

ELIZABETH:  Thanks to God everyone has been supportive.

ADEBIMPE: What factors are most likely to help boost your performance if set in place ?

ELIZABETH:  Finance and coordination from the house and customers too.

ADEBIMPE: What challenges do you often get with customers ?

ELIZABETH:  It has really not been easy because we have people with different ways of life and thinking. So sometimes it can be hard trying to get people to do things the way you think it should be done and them trying to make you see their idea is better. Its seriously not easy.

ADEBIMPE: Where do you see yourself in 10 years and what tools are you setting in place to make it work?

ELIZABETH:  In ten years, I wish by God’s grace to be well known locally & internationally, because I will be going into fashion designing and grooming my own models.

ADEBIMPE: What has been your biggest achievement, mistake and motivation?

ELIZABETH:  My greatest achievement is where I am today, my biggest mistake is procrastinating, my motivation  always comes when I see people who have made it In my line of aspiration (fashion).

ADEBIMPE: Any final words for your fans and clients out there?

ELIZABETH: To my fans, I just want to appreciate your efforts and encouragements. It has brought me this far. My advice to you all is to focus and chase your dreams above all follow your heart and do things right. Because at the right time God will do it for you. Thanks.
